Master in International Sports Law The Master in International Sports Law LL.M. has been designed for recent graduates in Law and other persons with interest in developing their career in the Sports Law world.
Introduction The Master in International Sports Law LL.M. has been designed for recent graduates in Law and other persons with interest in developing their career in the Sports Law world. The applicants must be able to attend and dedicate one year to the programme as a full-time student.
It is also mandatory for all the students to have an outstanding knowledge of the English language, as English is the official language of the programme and therefore all the lectures are given in English.
Course structure The programme, which duration exceeds 1500 hours of study, is divided in two phases:
1st phase. It begins in January and ends in June. During this period, the student attends lectures every day at ISDE Academic Center in Madrid, plus clinics during the afternoons in Firms and Sports institutions.
2nd phase. From July to December. Each student completes an internship, between 4 and 6 months, at the premises of one of the collaborating entities of the Master, under the conditions and rules set by those institutions. For this reason, the schedule for the second phase is subject to further modifications. The Graduation Ceremony takes place in December.

The official language for the whole programme, including classes, clinics and the practical internships, is the English language. Top qualified Lawyers in specific issues, University Professors and Representatives of recognized International Sport-related Institutions compose the list of Academics within the programme.
Location and Timetable The Master in International Sports Law LL.M. is divided in two phases: The 1st phase takes place at ISDE Academic Center in Madrid, Spain. The students are obliged to attend lectures everyday between 09.30 and 14.15 hrs., plus the additional visits that can take place during the afternoons to the sports legal departments of the top Law Firms in Spain and Sport-related Institutions in Madrid; Sports Institutions as the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Spanish Football League (LFP), and the Olympic Spanish Committee, Football Clubs, etc. These Legal Offices and Institutions are partners to ISDE.
The 2nd phase takes place in the Clubs, Sport-related Institutions or Sport-related Companies that collaborate with the programme. ISDE collaborates and works closely with institutions in the following countries: Spain, Portugal, France, Italia, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Holland, Poland, Czech Republic, Canada, USA, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Panama, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, etc.
The criteria used to appoint the Institution that will receive the student consists in a detailed case-by-case analysis of the academic performance of the student, his/her own personal profile, and the previous acceptation by the receiving institution of that particular student.
