El objetivo del Master in European Business (MEB) consiste en impulsar a los participantes hacia el acceso a la vida profesional y aumentar sus posibilidades de carrera añadiendo a sus estudios iniciales una formación multicultural complementaria, intensiva y de alto nivel, en dirección general de empresas internacionales.

Aprende en Europa a Dirigir el Mundo El Master in European Business es un programa internacional de gestión de un año de duración para titulados superiores.
La estructura del MEB tiene una dimensión puramente internacional: Con una duración de un año a tiempo completo, el programa se divide en dos semestres de clases en dos sedes distintas y finaliza con 3 meses de prácticas en empresa. Cada año, ESCP Europe propone todas las posibles combinaciones de 2 cualesquiera de sus 5 implantaciones de ESCP Europe: Madrid, París, Londres, Berlín y Turín, o combinarlas con uno de los campus asociados: el MDI de Gurgaon (India), el AIT de Bangkok (Tailandia) o el TEC de Monterrey (Méjico).
El MEB ofrece la oportunidad de aprender sobre la realidad del mundo de los negocios en un contexto internacional. Un master en dos países que impulsa a los alumnos a vivir, estudiar y trabajar, al menos durante un semestre, en un contexto cultural diferente al de sus países de origen. Una integración en la realidad multicultural e internacional que favorece el enriquecimiento recíproco de los participantes del programa.
El MEB combina teoría y práctica: Un dispositivo pedagógico que consiste principalmente en la aplicación de los métodos de enseñanza activa (método del caso, trabajo en equipo, desarrollo de proyectos, interactividad con el profesorado, etc.). Combina continuamente la teoría y la práctica, activando el potencial laboral del alumno en la realidad profesional actual y que culmina con dos Proyectos de Consultoría y unas Prácticas en Empresa. Los cursos se imparten en el idioma del país,

PROGRAM SEMESTER 1 INTRODUCTION TO EUROPEAN MANAGEMENT This module lays the foundations for the knowledge, skills and attitudes required at both strategic and operational levels in a European and international context. Theoretical and practical perspectives in this burgeoning domain of academic and professional interest and importance are explained, and their contribution to the development of Europeanmanagement effectiveness assessed. FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING Students will develop an understanding of the legal principles and basic techniques of accounting, as well as how their use enables the construction of key financial statements, particularly the profit and loss account and balance sheets. They will become familiar with analytical frameworks to compare and analyse the most important national and international systems of financial reporting. FUNDAMENTALS OF FINANCE This module gives students a set of tools and anlytical frameworks to assess the managerial and strategic implications of financial decisions from both an internal and external perspective. Through this, students will be able to understand financial instruments and make financial decisions. ECONOMICS FOR MANAGERS The aim of this module is to equip students with the knowledge of fundamental principles of micro- and macroeconomics and their relevance tomanagerial decision-making. Themodule coversmajor theories and approaches to economic policy, helping students to appreciate the impact of economic forces on strategic and operational managerial decisions in contemporary organisations. BUSINESS STRATEGY This module provides students with a fundamental knowledge of business strategy. Students will be made familiar with the concepts and tools that help set corporate and business unit goals, identify key stakeholders, analyse both the firm and the environment, and both formulate and implement strategy. ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR & INTERCULTURAL MANAGEMENT Operating effectively in an international and intercultural environment requires sophisticated interpersonal skills. This module develops skill in communication, team-building, motivation leadership and negotiation in order to allow students to reflect upon their own attitudes and behaviour, and to acquire the cultural sensitivity necessary for successful managers in a European and international context. OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT Operations Management is concerned with the management of the resources and processes required for 'delivering' a product or service. The module is based on the understanding that operations not only concern the industry firm, but also the service firm. Sourcing, logistics and production as well as Total QualityManagement are key topics covered in this module. MARKETING MANAGEMENT This module focuses on marketing decision-making, implementation and control in the increasingly dynamic and competitive global business environment. The marketing mix, including product, price, distribution and communication decisions, will be a central part of the module. QUANTITATIVE METHODS The overall objective of this module is to equip students with a basic understanding of fundamental techniques in quantitative and statistical analysis, and their application to practical business situations. Descriptive statistics, probability theory and statistical inference as well as regression analysis will be taught. COMPUTER SKILLS This module will provide assistance in using relevant software in a successful and efficient way. Students will be given support inwriting professional reports, analysing quantitative data using spread-sheets, using PowerPoint slides in effective oral presentations, and in constructing databases. SEMESTER 2 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING Management Accounting deals with the main approaches to cost accounting and cost allocation systems, enabling students to gain a good understanding of budgeting, responsibility accounting, standard costing and variance analysis. Students also acquire the skills needed to assess themanagerial and strategic implications of financial decisions. BUYING BEHAVIOUR & NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT This module broadens students' understanding of marketing issues and demonstrates the importance of marketing for global corporate success. It aims to equip students with knowledge of fundamental concepts, techniques, and frameworks for the analysis of consumer behaviour and the marketing environment, to develop their abilities to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, and to foster creativity and analytical rigour. INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT This module emphasises the international dimension of management by examining strategic and functional aspects of doing business in the global arena. EUROPEAN BUSINESS LAW Firms are always embedded in a legal context. This module will make students familiar with the major legal regulations for corporations. A special emphasis will be on European business law and the bodies in charge of enforcing it. EUROPEAN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT The focus of this module is on alerting future managers operating in a European context to potential problem areas which may affect European business activities worldwide. The course discusses the impact of the environment on the firm, focusing on political, legal and cultural issues. FINANCIAL STRATEGY This module covers the main aspects of corporate financial strategy, including risk and portfolio management as well as the theory and practice of capital markets at a national and international level. The focus is on providing students with a firm understanding of the role of financial strategy for corporate success. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT This module explores the principles of human resources management within a cross-cultural context. It covers the main HR functions, such as recruiting, remuneration, pensions and benefits, career development and expatriation/ repatriation. FINANCE OR MARKETING ELECTIVE An elective has been created to allow further in-depth study of either marketing or finance, depending on students' preferences. Students will broaden the knowledge and skills they developed in the marketing and finance modules, and will begin to think like the marketers and finance managers they will soon join. Since many MEB graduates enter into these sectors, this elective is an effective way to get a headstart on their career.
